McDonald, Tennessee · Two 3-point majors
JR took BEST OF WINNERS in McDonald, TN and walked away with not one, but TWO 3-point majors!
That means our boy is now just ONE POINT away from finishing his AKC Championship. One more point and it’s officially CH Lickety Splits JR!
Huge thanks to the judges for appreciating our little guy, and to everyone who has cheered us on along the way. We couldn’t be prouder of this sweet, hardworking boy.

#7 Teddy Roosevelt Terrier in the Nation
2026 National Owner-Handled Series
On June 6th, GRCH Mud-E Acres Bourbon Street Brawl BCAT stepped into an AKC ring for the very first time.
We walked into Lake Charles with no idea where this journey would take us. We weren’t chasing rankings. We weren’t expecting to end the year sitting among the top dogs in the country. We were simply excited to get in the ring, learn, have fun, and see what this young girl could do.
And now… here we are.
#7 Teddy Roosevelt Terrier in the Nation — 2026 National Owner-Handled Series.
Orlando bound for the NOHS Finals!
From her very first weekend in June to finishing the year Top 10 nationally… I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. We truly didn’t think we would be here, but Bourbon just kept showing up and giving me everything she had.
Four months ago was our first step into the ring. Now we’re headed to Orlando as #7.
What a way to finish our first season together.
Bourbon, you little dog… look what you did. 🥹
Also a HUGE congratulations to everyone who finished in the Top 10 and earned their invitation to Orlando! This breed had some beautiful dogs out there competing this year, and every point represented miles traveled, early mornings, long weekends, wins, losses, and a whole lot of work.
No matter where everyone finished, seeing Teddy Roosevelt Terriers represented and succeeding is something worth celebrating.

Her résumé continues to grow : Owner Handler Top 10, multiple Owner-Handled Group placements, multiple Best of Breed wins, Best of Opposite Sex, Best Puppy, Champion, Grand Champion, and now performance titled.
I’m incredibly proud of this girl and everything she continues to accomplish. She proves that she can be beautiful in the show ring while still having the drive and athleticism a Teddy should have.

September 2026 · Teddy Roosevelt Terriers
What an incredible opportunity!
When I was asked to represent the Teddy Roosevelt Terrier in the September 2026 issue of SHOWSIGHT Magazine, I was truly honored.
This breed means so much to me, and being given the opportunity to help represent Teddies on a platform dedicated to the purebred dog world is something I don’t take lightly. I’m incredibly passionate about preserving this breed, educating others about what makes them so special, and helping Teddy Roosevelt Terriers continue to grow while staying true to the qualities that make them Teddies.
Seeing it in print makes it even more surreal!
Thank you for trusting me with the opportunity to represent a breed that has become such a huge part of my life. Here’s to continuing to educate, preserve, show, and advocate for these amazing little dogs.
Check us out in the September 2026 issue of SHOWSIGHT Magazine — page 248 and 249!

Two Best of Breed wins · Heart Wrecker’s Puppy of Achievement
CH Mud-E Acres Captain Morgan BCAT and I had a great time in Groups!
Captain took home two Best of Breed wins and received some amazing compliments from the judges. I’m incredibly proud of this boy and everything he continues to accomplish. He always gives me his all in the ring, and getting to stand beside him in Groups makes it even better.
We also want to give a huge congratulations to our Bred-By, K&B Menagerie’s Heart Wrecker, on earning his AKC Puppy of Achievement! We are so proud to watch one of our own bred-by dogs continue to grow, develop, and accomplish great things in the ring.
It was definitely a time to be proud of for K&B Menagerie/ Mud- E acres!

Calcasieu Kennel Club · Bourbon & Heart Wrecker
Well Lake Charles, you were good to us!
We came to the Calcasieu Kennel Club show planning to stay for just one day to give the pups some ring experience and help them get comfortable showing. We never expected to leave with so much more.
Mud-E Acres Bourbon Street Brawl
K&B Menagerie Heart Wrecker
We almost skipped this show because we had a party to attend, but I’m so thankful we decided to take a chance and stay. Watching these dogs do what they love and seeing all the hard work pay off makes every mile, every early morning, and every minute worth it.
A huge thank you to the judges, show committee, fellow exhibitors, and everyone who helped make this weekend such a great experience. We’re heading home proud, grateful, and excited for what’s ahead!
